Germany Republic An Order of Merit of the Federal Republic Grand Cross Set
Complete set with presentation case of issue. Established 1951.
The set includes a Breast Star with a four-rayed silver gilt star, with a center applique attached to the obverse constructed of bronze gilt and red enamels, with a black enameled eagle in the centre. The reverse plain, with a bottle shaped pinback, with a barrel hinge and a rounded catch marked "800" for silver content.
A Sash Badge constructed of bronze gilt and red enamels. The obverse with a black enameled eagle in the centre, identical reverse. To the reverse is a broad loop for suspension from its period original sash ribbon.
Both medals is in Close to mint condition and comes with a large presentation case. The case is made of Wood with blue colored leather imitation. The case is maker marked to the reverse in golden letters: Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid".
