Brittish Royal Artillery, Named Officers Service Tunic

Brittish Royal Artillery, Named Officers Service Tunic WWII

Tunic made of olive drab cotton, four pocket tunic with four buttons to the front. To each collar is bronze officers collar badges and three gilt metal shoulder pips with red enamel to the center, denoting the rank of captain. To the left chest side is a set of medal ribbons consisting of. Military Cross, 1939-1945 Star, Africa Star with 8th Army Bar, Italy star, Efficiency Medal and last Defence medal.

Interior has tailors label, hand written with ink. Our guess is the name is Captain, Frank Reeve(s)?.. Cheshie Regt, R.A. His service number is also written on the label our guess is 1373. This information makes this tunic highly researchable.

The tunic shows clear signs of use and age with minor soiling. Complete lining with minor wear spots. Overall very good condition.

Very nice tunic to a well decorated tunic which is highly researchable!!
