Heer Artillery Oberfeldwebel's M35 Dress Tunic Named And Unit Marked


The M35 dress tunic was introduced for wear by all ranks on June 29TH 1935 as the walking out, parade and ceremonial dress. All personnel were issued two M35 dress tunics but manufacture was discontinued in early 1940. Regulations of March 21'st 1940 stated that the M35 dress tunics that were no longer suitable for dress wear were to be modified and reissued to personnel of the replacement and reserve units for every day wear.


Issue field-grey wool/tricot blend construction M35 dress tunic with eight button front closure with one metal hook and eye at the forward neckline and a lay down blue/green badge cloth collar. Correct type of collar tabs and wide aluminum rank tresse to the collar. To each shoulder is sew-in shoulder boards with red wool piping, Bright silver/aluminum tresse and two rank pips denoting the rank of Oberfeldwebel serving in a Artillery unit. Each board is also attached with one shoulder board button which is marked "II". High quality flat wire, machine embroidered breast eagle, machine sewn to the right breast. Award loops for one badge and a short ribbon bar. The tunic is both named and unit marked and comes with its original markmans lanyard.


The tunic shows signs of age and use all over. There is a couple of minor moth nips and traces. We rate this tunic as: good used condition with originally attached insignias.
