Here we have a large Document and Photo group from the first commandser of the 6┬┤th Panzer Regiment Meyer, the group consists of the following items

 

World War II

 

- Promotion document to Generalmajor. Documant is dated the 31┬┤st of May 1939. Signed in Fachsimile of Adolf Hitler and in original by Generalfeldmarschall Walther von Brauchitsch at the lopwer right corner. Document is folded once have 4 binderholes and some tape residue and finally is cut smaller some one cm all around, except that in very good condition.

 

- Promotion document to Oberst. Document is dated the 1┬┤st of October 1935 and signed in original by Adolf Hitler and also in original by Generalfeldmarschall Werner von Blomberg in the lower right corner. Document is not folded but have 2 binder holes.

 

- Promotiondocument to Oberstleutnant. Document is dated 1 of January 1934 and signed in original by Paul von Hindenburg and also in original by Generalfeldmarschall Werner von Blomberg in the lower right corner. Document have one fold and two binderholes, still in very good condition.

 

- Award document for the Spange to Iron Cross 1┬┤st class. Document is dated the 29 of March 1944 and signed by a General der Infanterie. Folded once and have 2 binder holes.

 

- Award document for the Spange to Iron Cross 2┬┤nd class. Document is dated the 18 of October 1943 and signed by a Generalleutnant and Division Commander. Folded once and have 2 binder holes.

 

- Award document for KvK with Swords 1┬┤st Class. Document is dated the 17 of August 1942 and signed by Generalfeldmarschall Wilhelm Keitel in original. Not folded but have 2 binder holes.

 

- Award document for KvK with Swords 2┬┤nd Class. Document is dated the 20 of November 1940 and signed by General der Infanterie in original. Not folded but have 2 binder holes.

 

- Award document for the Long service medal 1┬┤st Class (For 30 years service). Document is dated the 2┬┤nd of October 1936. Signed by a Generalleutnant in original. Folded once and with 2 binder holes.

 

- Document for the Hindenburg Cross, not folded but with 2 binder holes.

 

- Large portrait photo 18 x 14 cm of Meyer as a Oberst in a piped service tunic.

 

- Two Press photos in the size of 18 x 12 cm of Meyer during a Iron Cross awarding cermony with soldiers of The Estonian legion. Dated July 1943.

 

- Three loose photos in the size of 12 x 9 cm from a training ground with many prominent Generals and Officers.

 

- Very large ornamented and described photoalbum in brown leather (37 x 28 cm) about the 6 Panzer Regiment 15.10.35 to 31.1.38 containing 193 photos, of them 2 are very large 24 x 18 cm photos with Panzer MK 1 and 8 are in the size 18 x 12 cm also mainly with panzers. Photos contains everything from the start of the Panzer regiment 6 and on the first years, all important cermonies and officers. Very nice and scarce album!

- Award document for the House Order of Hohenzollern. Dated the 7 of July 1918. Signed in original. folded several times and with 4 binderholes.

 

- Award document for the Irin Cross 1┬┤st class 1914. dated 4 of October 1916 and signed in original by a General der Infanterie and Division Kommendeur. Folded once and with 4 binder holes.

 

- Large award document for the Iron Cross 2┬┤nd Class 1914. Dated the 26 of September 1914. Signed in original. folded once and with 2 binder holes.

 

- Document for the Friedrich Kreutz. Signed the 28 of January 1917, signed in fachsimile. Folded once and with 2 binder holes.

 

- Document for the Hanseaten Kreutz. Signed 5 of April 1917. Folded several times and with 2 binder holes.

 

- Promotiondocument to Major. Document is dated 1 of October 1929 and signed in original by Paul von Hindenburg and also in original by someone in the lower right corner. Document have one fold and two binderholes, still in very good condition.

- Printed drawing of Paul von Hindenburg which is signed in original, size 19 x 14 cm.

 

- Original "Dog-Tag" with carrying pouch made out to Fa├Ąnrich Meyer and later changed to Leutnant Res IR 72. Nice!

 

- A booklet about RR 4.

 

- Several other documents and letters, a modern paper about the 6┬┤th Panzer Rgt.

 

This is a very, very large and complete group to a Panzer General, it is a amazing group!!
