Document and Medal Group to a NCO in Infantery Rgt 6.

 

Group belonged to Hauptfeldwebel Herbert Jahrmarkt who was stationed in Infantry Rgt 6 from early 1930 to the end of 1944. He was first a "Richtsch├╝tze" Gunner in a "Minenwerfer" Mortar Companie and ended the war as a "Zahlmeister" Paymaster.

 

Group consists of the following items

 

- Preliminary document for the "Golden plaque" (Shootingcord) as a Mortar Gunner. Dated the 28┬┤th of August 1931. Folded twice and with a set of binder holes, no other damage.

 

- Three preliminary documents for the shooting cord as well as the oaklefs to it. Dated in 28 August 1931, 8 September 1932 and finally 2 of October 1933. All folded twice and with binder holes, no other damage.

 

- Preliminary documnet for the traditionbadge of the companie badge. Dated the 3 September 1934. Folded twice and with binder holes, no other damage.

 

- A booklet from 1931 - 32 for the NCO┬┤s in the 6┬┤th Infantry Rgt.

 

- Large promotion document for promotion to Feldwebel in the 13┬┤th Company of the 6┬┤th Infantry Rgt. Dated the 2 October 1936. Signed by a Generalleutnant in fachsimile. No folds but two binder holes.

 

- A booklet for the 13┬┤th companie of the 6 Infantry Rgt dated 30 september 1937.

 

- Large promotion document for promotion to Oberfeldwebel in the 13┬┤th companie of the 6┬┤th Inf Rgt. Dated the 7 October 1937and signed in original by a Oberst and Rgt kommendeur. No folds but two binderholes.

 

- Large Awarddocument for the Octobermedal 1938. Dated the 30 of November 1939. Signed in original by a Oberst and Rgt Kommendeur. Not folded but some smaller stains and two binder holes.

 

- Award document for the Iron Cross 2┬┤nd class. Really a early Award date for a NCO, the 4 of November 1939. Jahrmarkt where still in the 13 Companie of the 6┬┤th Infantry Rgt and document is signed by a Generalleutnant and DivisionKommendeur in Original. Not folded but with two binderholes.

 

- Honour Document to all Soldiers in the 8 Armee, dated the 19┬┤th of September and mentioning the great succ├ęs of the 8 army. Folded once.

 

- A book dated 1941 detailing the fighting of the 6 Infantry Rgt.

 

- A document re the new position as Paymaster dated the 1 of December 1943. Folded several times and with two binderholes.

 

- Award document for the KvK 2┬┤nd class with swords, dated 1 of September 1944 and given to Zahlmeister Herbert Jahrmarkt now in the Stab III in Grenadier Rgt 377. Signed in original by a Generalleutnant. Not foldeb but with two binder holes.

 

- Two documents from the early 1950┬┤s about that he was eligable for the 12 year service medal.

 

- Three Place medalbar containing, Iron Cross 2┬┤nd class (Schinkelform so most certainly Jahrmarkts awarded one), Heer 4 year service medal with attached Heer eagle to the ribbon and finally the October 1938 medal. Very nice medal bar in very good condition.

 

- KvK 2┬┤nd class, makermarked 107 for "Carl Wild, Hamburg" In near mint condition with a long piece of original ribbon.

 

- Jahrmarkts Shootingcord with 3 oakleafs. In well worn but still good condition

 

A super nice and complete Group to a NCO serving through the whole war!!
