SS Helferinnen Side/Overseas Cap

SS-Helferinnen was female personnel who have been trained in the Reichsschule SS at Oberenheim/Alsace and incorporated into the Corps of SS-Helferinnen. SS runes, sleevebands and unit emblems was reserved for SS-Helferinnen only. SS helferin served as: Camp guards, nurses, Communication and clerks  we have even find some sources which states there was "SS helferins" serving in anti Aircraft units.

This cap is made of high quality, thin black wool with a Bevo machine embroidered sleeve eagle in silver/grey threads which is neatly hand-sewn to the front. The cap has a Deep cut to the top center. Inside is lined with fine ribbed Rayon cloth with the Deep cut to the center. Rather crude, dubbel inside seam is clearly visable to each side.

The cap shows even and light/medium signs of use with napwear to all exposed parts. The "sleeve" eagle shows some minor wear exactly where the front seam fold is. There is also one minor wear hole to the lining. Lining also shows signs of light/medium use, mostly to the lower parts.

The Picture added shows a SS Helferin with exactly this type of cap in wear. The Picture is for reference only!

Super rare cap, first one we ever have had for sale!!
