864.28 kr

The Russian Front Medal was instituted by Adolf Hitler on May 26th 1942 to commemorate the first winter campaign in Russia. The award was available to all Wehrmacht personnel, civilians and foreign volunteers who met the required criteria with the main qualification being at least fourteen days of participation in combat on the Russian front between November 15th 1941 and April 15th 1942.

The medal is constructed of die struck Zinc and comes complete with intact suspension ring and ribbed, rayon ribbon. Suspension ring is maker marked “19” for E. Ferd Weidmann, Pforzheim”. The medal is in very good condition with 99% of the original grey and silver paint still intact.

Very hard to find a East Front medal in this fine condition, especially a maker marked one!!
