Field Made Tropical Luftwaffe EM/NCO's Side Cap

The cap is constructed of light weight, ribbed, tan cotton twill. Front fold down side and back panels with gently sloping, downward scallops to the front and forward sides. The front center of the cap has a machine embroidered second pattern Luftwaffe national eagle in silvery/grey threads on a blue/grey wool base. The front center of the cap has a hand made national tri-color cockade. Both the eagle and the cockade are handstitched to the cap. The interior of the cap is unlined. The cap shows clear signs of age and use. There is one wear hole located to the left side. Exterior shows use and age soiling. Inside is rather clean. Cap size is about 58.
