Heer Artillery Unteroffizier's Presentation Case With Medals And Insignia's

Large private purchase case which meassures 27cm x 25.5cm. Fold open case, made of wood with black leather imitation cover. The interior of the case has a black flocking covering to the bottom with a slotted recess to secure the award’s and insignia’s in place and the interior top lid has a white satin lining. The case cointains following items:

• Iron Cross First Class 1939, three piece construction with magnetic core. Maker marked “4” to the obverse of the pin. The cross has some soldering led to the edges. A war time or post war repair. Thee is also some surface rust to the iron core. Black color to the core is virtually all intact and the silvering to the edges to.
• Iron Cross second class 1939, three piece construction with magnetic center. Maker marked “65” to the suspension ring. Virtually all of the black paint still intact. In very good condition with some age darkening.
• General Assault Badge made of die struck Zinc. Minor signs of the original silver paint wash. Intact hinge and pin. Unmarked and in good condition.
• Wound Badge in Silver, produced of die struck Zinc with a bright silver wash which remains to about 95%. In good condition with intact hinge, pin and catch.
• East Front Medal, die struck Zinc construction. Missing most of the original colors, maker marked to the suspension ring but hard to see.
• 2 place medal ribbon bar with Iron Cross second class 1939 followed by East Front Medal. Reverse with field-grey backing and intact fastening pin device. In good used condition.
• Iron Cross 1939 Lapel butonette in good condition.
• Tunic removed Heer officer style breast eagle in well used condition.
• Heer Artillery shoulder straps, early second pattern constructed of green cloth with trimmed wool to the edges. Bright silver rank tresse all arround but open at bottom. The straps comes with pebbled silver painted shoulder board buttons.
• Heer EM/NCO’s Artillery collar tabs. Uniform removed in good used condition.
• Heer Visor Cap eagle constructed of Aluminum with a bright silver wash. Both attachment prongs missing.
