Heer Infantry EM's M44 Combat Tunic
Late war Heer EM’s M44 made in the late war more greyish circulated wool type. Pockets are made from a slightly different color cloth. Field blouse features six style button front closure, small fold back lapels and a lay down collar. All buttons is late war ferrous metal, black painted type. One is replaced. Blouse have Bevo einheitz litzen machine sewn to collar and at shoulders we find a rare pair of matching M45 EM’s Infantry (white rayon) piped shoulder straps. The field blouse has two, non pleated breast pockets with straight, button down, flaps. At the right breast there is a M44 pattern Bevo eagle machine sewn to the tunic.
Inisde tunic is lined in drill grey cotton lining. It have no inside pockets. Tunic have no markings at all,they have been worn away.
Tunic is in a well worn condition and show just wear all over. As all tunics made from re-circulated wool, there are small holes here and there and they have some nap loss from age. This one is a very late example, probably manufactured during year 1945
