Imperial Japanese Army Officer's Sword Belt

88cm x 7cm webbed khaki canvas belt with leather fittings. To either end are folded-over brown leather reinforcements. Stepped back from one edge is stitched a 5cm wide brown leather tab with a retaining loop and double-claw metal buckle. Further in is stitched a brown leather retaining loop. Further still is stitched a brown leather with metal device for the sword hanger. Sword hanger leather strap with metal device is buttoned in place. Stepped back from the other edge is stitched brown leather tongue with eight double buckling holes. The belt is in good used condition with rather stiff leather.

Hard to find, espcially in this good condition!!
