Iron Cross First Class 1914 Maker Marked KO

Iron Cross First Class 1914, three piece construction with silver frames and magnetic core. Maker marked “KO” under catch for “Königliches Münzamt Orden, Berlin”. Hinge, pin and catch all intact and functional. The cross shows clear signs of age and real use with a nice and heavy age/use patina all over. The black paint remains to about 60%.
