Japanese WWII Army Type 90 Combat Helmet in Well-Used Condition

675.00

A standard issue steel combat helmet used by the Japanese army during the WW2.
A five-pointed star is affixed on the front of the shell, indicating this one is an army-issue piece.
This helmet is complete with a late-war pig skin leather liner and the original cotton chinstrap. However,
this one was found in old storage area and the postwar storage condition caused the rust to appear on the
shell surface both inside and outside. Also, as obvious in the darkened liner and the shortened chinstrap,
the helmet was heavily worn by a soldier. The thread that connects the rear ends of the leather liner was torn off
but the liner pads sag down and is still firmly attached to the shell. There is no possibility of the liner becomes
detached from the shell. This helmet comes “as found” and “untouched.”

Super cool helmet with the unmistakable real combat look!!
