Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery War Badge Early Case of Issue

VERY scarce early manufactured case for the coastal artillery badge. The case is constructed of wood with a leather imitation cover. Impressed letters in silver to the top lid “Marine Artillerie Abzeichen”. The fold back top lid has a bar hinge to the reverse and a spring activated closure button to the obverse both intact. The interior of the case has a black flocking covering to the bottom with a slotted recess to secure the award in place. The interior top lid has a white satin lining. The case is in very good condition with slight chafe wear to the obverse and some soiling to the white satin lining.
