Kriegsmarine Kapitänleutnant's Greatcoat

Highest quality, dark navy blue wool construction. Double breasted, full length greatcoat with fold back lapels and lay down collar. Sew on shoulder boards for the rank of Kapitänleutnant is buttoned in place to each shoulder. Coat features dual parallel rows of six front closure buttons with corresponding button holes on both the left and right front panels. Coat has two angled slash front hip pockets with flaps at waistline. Straight cut sleeves have simulated French cuffs. Reverse of coat has a half waist belt with a retaining button and two ornamental buttons to waistline. Reverse has a central vertical tail skirt slash with four button closure. All buttons look to have original stitching. The inside is fully lined with black satin cloth. To the neck is the original tailor label still in place. The coat is in very good condition with minimal signs of age and use.
