M1871 Unit Marked Prussian Bayonet

Model 1871 bayonet, used by the armies of Prussia, Saxony, Württemberg and Bavaria in 1872, with its original leather and brass scabbard. Nice complete example. Clean blade, maker marked “Gebr. Weyersberg, Solingen” and good solid scabbard. Both the crossguard and scabbard is unit marked: “134.R.9.109”. As it often is with this type of scabbards, the bayonet is hard to slide all the way in, leaving a gap from the scabbard to the crossguard of about o,5cm. Besides that a solid well preserved bayonet with signs of age.

Hard to find a nice unit marked exampel like this one!!
