Named tunic to SS-Brigadeführer / Generalmajor der Polizei Karl Fischer

Karl Fischer was born 16 April 1889. Rank was SS-Brigadeführer and Generalmajor der Polizei. Karl’s NSDAP member number was 5 379 712 and SS member number was: 313 994. Karl served in both world wars. And received following medals during WWI: Iron Cross 1914 1’st and 2’nd class. Wound badge in black 1918 and Honor cross for front fighters. We cant find any information about his WWII awards. The tunic was donated to a local museum in France in the 1960’s. The museum sold the tunic when it closed and has been in only 1 collection before this sale.
The tunic is of highest quality, tailormade m36 style combat tunic made of field-grey fine tricot cloth. Pleated patchstyle pockets with scalloped pocket flaps. Eight pebbled, fire gilded button front closure. Police green piping all arround. Brown stand and fall collar with excellent quality hand embroidered SS-Brigadeführer / Generalmajor collar tabs with golden bullion threads and gold bullion thread highlights. All embroidered on green cloth neatly hand sewn in place. Sew in Police generals bullion and silver/aluminum-thread shoulder boards on fine green colored wool underlay. There is loops for one long ribbon bar above left breast pocket and loops for three award loops sewn to the left chest pocket. To the left upper sleeve is a police generals insignia neatly hand sewn in place. The insignia is hand embroidered with different golden bullion threads on police green backing. The eagle is of super high quality!
Inside is fully lined in green rayon cloth and white rayon sleeves. Tailor label is machine sewn to the neck. And there is a matching name label from the same tailor inside the left breast pocket. Hand written to the label in black ink: “Oberst Fischer, dated: “41.10.19”.
Tunic shows light wear and minor soiling, no damage or mendings. There is a couple of minor wear marks and a couple of pin head sized holes all located to the front. All insignias match perfectly in condition and is period applied in our opinion.
Super rare tunic which also is named, don’t miss out on this one since you most likely will not see another one for sale in a long, long time!!
