SA Gruppenstab Field Cap "Lagermütze"

Interesting cap is produced of olive-brown wool. The flaps are buttoned at the left side. There is a triangular, machine woven red colored insignia with a silver bullion eagle. To the front of the cap is a “SA” metal cockade insignia pinned in place. The interior is fully lined in olive/green soft cloth. There is a full ersatz pressed paper sweatband with a few tiny tears. There is a large RZM tag underneath the sweatband. Inside is also size stamped “56” in black ink. The left side of the cap has several moth holes, there is also some moth bites to the front and to the top of the cap. The cap shows only minor signs of use (if used at all). Insignias match the cap perfectly in age patina.
