US WWII HQ Second Inf Div Harold M Jones Summer Tunic, Purple Heart Recipient for Battle Wounds in Ardennes

Harold M Jones warrant officer (junior grade) HQ Second Infantry division from 14. 6. 1943 – 20. 12. 45. Harold partipicated in the battles in: Normandy, northern France, Ardennesm Rhineland and central Europe. Harold received the purple heart 19 December 1944, battle of the Bulge (Ardennes). We have not made any further research but he is for sure listed and further research is not a hard task.
Jones fine tailor made, khaki colored summer tunic and pants. The tunic has warrant officer (junior grade) shoulder rank insignia. Left upper sleeve has 2’nd Infantry Division sleeve patch machine sewn in place. Army warrant Officer eagle branch insignia’s buttoned in place to the lapels. Pinned in place to the left upper chest is a three place ribbon bar with: Purple Heart, European/African/Middle Eastern Campaign Medal ribbon bar with one star and Victory Medal. Inside is lined with fine rayon with intact tailor label. The tunic is in good condition with some minor soling to the reverse and also a couple of minor mothbites.
The tunic comes with a matching pair of trousers. The trousers has the name “Jones” hand written to the lining. The trousers has a couple of moth bites besides that in good condition.
Also included is NARA copied discharge papers.
Pretty scarce named US tunic from a veteran from the major famous battles in Europe!!
