War Merit Cross 2’nd class with swords. Early war produced example made of Buntmetal with a bronze color finish. The medal comes complete with intact suspension ring and the correct rayon ribbon. The cross is maker marked to the suspension ring “55” for “J.E. Hammer & Söhne, Geringswalde”. The cross is in good condition and shows a moderate age patina.
