War Merit Cross 2’nd class with swords. Early example, made of Buntmetal with a bronze color wash finish. The medal comes complete with intact suspension ring and the correct rayon ribbon. The suspension ring is maker marked stamped “56” for “Robert Hauschild, Pforzheim”. The cross shows signs of age and handling with a nice and strong age patina.
