Wound Badge 1939 in Black, Double Marked 65

Wound badge in black 1939 made of die stamped steel. Paint washed with the mid – later war dull black paint. Hinge, pin and catch all intact to the reverse. Also to the reverse, interesting combination of markings “65 a K&Q” for “Klein & Quenzer” and below that “42” which most likely is the year of production?. The “42” marking is weak and is almost impossible to make photos from. Normally we see these badges marked with just “65”. The badge is in very good condition with virtually all black paint still intact.

Scarce K&Q marked variation!!
