WWII USAAF Officers Tropical "Crusher" Style Visor Cap

A khaki/tan wool top with woven center band and soft leather visor, brown leather chin strap and brass buttons. The brass buttons shows oxidation. Army officer’s cap badge with a fire gilt finish. Inside sweat protection liner has two rips. Leather sweatband still in place. The cap shows light water stains to the top. The wire is completely removed from the crown for the true “crusher” style. Size is about 56.
