Heer M40 Tan/Green/Brown Camouflage Helmet

3,295.00

The stamped sheet steel construction helmet retains a good portion of it’s camouflage. The camo paint is mostly sand/tan colored with green parts and hints of brown. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The Heer decal is partly still visable under the paint. The interior of the helmet has a M31 leather liner with all eight fingers and intact drawstring. Original well used chinstrap also still in place. The interior reverse neck guard apron has a stamped serial/lot number which reads: “801”and the interior left side apron is stamped with the manufacturers code and size “ET 68” indicating manufacture “Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG Thale/Harz” and size 68. The helmet shows clear signs of age and use inside and out with spots of surface rust. With that said, the helmet has no damage, original liner sits tight in place and the camo paint is mostly intact.

Very desirable helmet, a combat veteran in still good condition!!
