Luftwaffe Unteroffizier's Sleeve Rank Insignia

December 1935 insignia for garments that normally would not have any rank insignia such as protective flight suits and coats, work and drill uniforms came in a series of white “wings” and bars for the ranks of Unteroffizier through to the rank of Oberst and a series of golden yellow “wings” and bars for the ranks of Generalmajor through to Reichsmarschall. The December 1935 pattern of rank insignia remained in usage through-out the war.

This insignia consists of a dark blue wool base with a machine sewn in place, single cut-out white wool “wing”. In very good condition with light signs of age.
