WWII US Army EM's Visor Cap

An olive drab fur felt top, with a brown vulkan fiber visor, brown leather full chin strap and brass buttons. Army EM’s cap badge is die-struck alloy with a fire gilt finish. A pair of painted, metal grommets is under each side of the crown. The chin strap is held in place by a pair of small brass buttons and extends to the rear of the cap where it can be adjusted via roller buckle and single prong. The sweat shield is sewn to the interior of the crown with a manufacture diamond for “The Columbia, New York U.S.A. The Army Store”. The cap shows signs of age and use. No rips, holes or mendings.
