Heer M40 Combat Helmet

The stamped sheet steel construction helmet retains 99% of its slightly rough textured field-grey paint. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is complete with all leather liner fingers intact. Original size adjustment string is present. The former owners initials are hand written with with black ink to the liner “E.Li”. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial/lot number, maker marked and size “Q66”. Original chinstrap is present. The chinstrap is marked with a faint RBNR and also marked “Wien”. The helmet is in very good condition with minor signs of age and storage wear.
It will be very hard to find a M40 helmet in better condition!!
