Luftwaffe Flight/Paratrooper Feldwebel's Fliegerbluse with NARVIK Shield and Kreta Cuff Band

Issued Luftwaffe blue/grey,wool construction tunic features a four button front closure. Small fold back lapels and a lay down collar. The flight blouse has two slash, front hip pockets. The right breast has a machine embroidered EM/NCO’s Luftwaffe national eagle machine sewn in place. Collar with silver/aluminum luftwaffe pattern rank tress and yellow cloth collar tabs with three “sea gulls” pinned in place to each. The collar tabs are machine sewn in place. To the shoulder are slip-on shoulder straps slided and buttoned in place. The shoulder straps have yellow trimmed wool branch of service piping, rank tresse all arround and one silver washed rank pip pinned in place. The upper, left panel of the front closure has an Iron Cross 2’nd class ribbon handstitched in place. There is also award loops sewn for three badges and loops sewn for a 3-4 place ribbon bar, all to the left side chest area. To the upper left sleeve is a NARVIK campaign shield in non ferrous metal hand sewn in place. Further down the same sleeve is a KRETA campaign cuff band hand sewn in place. The interior of the flight blouse is lined in silver/blue/grey rayon. Lining is also well stamped with manufacturers name and location, size and also LBA 42. 42 is for the year of production: 1942. Sewn to the armpit is a dagger hanger which corresponds with a later made opening situated to the inside of the left hip pocket.
