Heer Gebirgsjäger Officer's Bergmütze Style Field Cap

Private purchase field grey ribbed tricot cap. At front cap have a EM/NCO’s national eagle, Bevo T-trapezoid variant, neatly hand sewn in place, also at front two brown composite buttons. At side it has a aluminium gebirgsjäger edelweiss, hand sewn in place. Inside is lined with originally silver/grey rayon which is now more or less light brown in color because of old grease and sweat. Also sewn ito the inside is a full leather sweatband with a metal cypher with the letter “M”, the other cypher is missing.

Cap show clear signs of real use and age. There is one aprox 1cm x 0,5cm wear hole to the top of the cap and one wear hole to the lining. Insignias match perfectly in condition and is original to the cap. This private purchase cap is a bergmütze style cap without internal stiffener and with normal sized visor.
