Iron Cross Second Class 1939

Adolf Hitler restored the Iron Cross in 1939 as a German decoration and continued the tradition of issuing it in various classes. The Iron Cross was awarded for bravery in battle as well as other military contributions in a battlefield environment.

This is a Iron Cross Second Class 1939. Standard issue three piece construction cross with magnetic Iron core. The black Iron core has about 90+% of the black paint intact. The cross is complete with intact medal ring, suspension ring and long medal ribbon. The cross shows a nice age patina all over.
