Police Shako Manufactured by EREL 

This is a very nice 1936 Officers pattern Shako, with the late pattern police green wool body and black leather trim. It has as very fine quality police officer eagle with aluminum cockade (often missing) and black leather chinstrap. Unlike some of the more common ones found trimmed in brown for rural police, this one is with black trim for the municipal police. Interior leather is supple and shows signs of wear. tie string missing. Inside of the crown with size 59 marked and a clear maker name and logo: “Robert Lubstein Berlin NW 21, Alt Moabit 105 GES. GESCH. FABRIKMARKE EREL BERLIN Fiber-Tschako”. In very good condition with light signs of age and use.
