Heer Late War Pioneer Officer's Visor Cap, Peküro

Late war produced pioneer officers visor cap is in nice, used condition constructed of field grey tricot cloth. Cap has zinc metal national eagle, a bullion wreath and alloy metal cockade. Also to front Officers Heavy Chin cord. Cap is piped with black trimmed wool piping. Cap band is constructed of dark green cotton (scarce with cotton cap bands and only seen in really late war produced caps). Inside is lined with golden yellow rayon. The cap never had a sweatshield, also a clear indicator the cap was produced really late in the war. Lining is maker marked “Peküro”. Brown leather sweatband all intact.

Cap shows signs of real use with slight wear all over. There is one small hole located to the top crown, besides that no holes, rips or mendings. Inside shows some stains from real use. Size is approx 56.
