Hitlerjugend Knife, Early Ges.Gesch with Motto

Complete early Hitlerjugend knife with original scabbard. Blade shows clear signs of age and use. The motto “Blut Und Ehre!” is still visable (altough faint). The reverse of the blade is maker marked “Carl Eickhorn” with logo type. The reverse blade is also marked “Ges.Gesch”. All together, this is an early example produced 1931-1933. The original leather buffer is present on the blade. The handle on this one shows light signs of use with an intact HJ diamond emblem with no chips to the enamel. The grip plates are in very good condition, and the hilt retains all of the original plating, with only very minor marks from handling and wear. The original black finish to the steel scabbard is intact to about 99% with signs of wear. The leather belt attachment is intact and sound, with a functional retaining strap with intact push button.
