Heer EM/NCO's Belt and Buckle

1940 pattern, field-grey painted, die stamped steel construction, combat box buckle features a smooth outer field with a high relief embossed Wehrmacht eagle. The reverse of the buckle is a mirror image of the obverse and the brazed buckle catch, prong bar and prongs are all intact. The buckle comes with it’s original brown leather tab. The tab is maker marked and year of production marked, 1942. The buckle shows signs of use and retains approx 70% of it’s original field grey paint.

The buckle comes with it’s original blackened leather belt. Constructed of blackened leather with ferrous metal buckle catch and retaining tounge intact. The belt is 110cm long. The belt is marked “110” which is the length of the belt. The belt is in good condition with signs of age and use.
