German K98 Combat Bayonet with Scabbard and Leather Frog

Drop forged, steel construction blade with wide fullers. Blade retains most it’s original blueing. Maker marked “Rich A Herder” and serial number stamped “2495 b”. Bakelite grip. Stud functions well. Scabbard is unmarked. The set is complete and comes with it’s original frog. The set is in good condition with light signs of age and use. The set also appears to never been clean with a nice age patina and dust build up. The set was originally brought home from Denmark / Köpenhamn just after the end of WWII by the sellers uncle!
