WWI Imperial Prussian Field Grey Visor Cap

Constructed of field-grey doeskin cloth with red felt centerband and trimmed red wool piping to the edges. The top of the field gray wool cap has two small holes, with another small hole in the red wool cap band. The front of the cap displays the Prussian and the national colors cockades. Inside is lined with yellow cotton cloth and full leather sweatband all intact. The surface of the visor shows minor scuffs, some moth tracking to the top and a smaller hole is located to the front between the cockades. Obverse with some stains. Inside with sweat stains. Overall the cap makes a very good, used appearance.
