SS Supporting Honor Member Stickpin by "Deschler Und Sohn" Numbered and Made of 935 Silver

In 1935, a special hallmarked silver honour FM badge with oakleaves and additional inscription on the obverse was authorized for the first 30,000 members; this was expanded to the oldest 60,000 a short time later.
SS supporting member “in der Kampfzeit” stickpin by Deschler und Sohn, München. Black enamel and silver construction with soldered on stickpin. On the obverse the letters “F M”: “Förderndes Mitglied” or supporting member of the SS and “Dank der SS für treue Hilfe in der Kampfzeit” (Thanks by the SS for loyal help during the battle time). The so-called Kampfzeit was the period of 1923 (after the Putsch) to getting to power in January 1933. Reverse is maker marked “D u S M” and “Ges. Gesch.” (protected by law) and “Silber 935”. The reverse is also number marked “44524” (interesting research project!). The pin shows some light surface wear and the silver parts shows a very nice age patina.
