Kriegsmarine Officer's Dress Belt Buckle

Injection molded alloy construction dress belt buckle with a gilt fire wash and polished highlights. The buckle features a high relief, laurel leaf wreath outer edge encompassing an embossed, fouled anchor on a slightly domed, horizontally ribbed field. The reverse of the buckle has an inset alloy plate with a crimped, buckle catch and belt retaining device both intact. The buckle is in good condition with a very nice age and use patina.
