Heer Infantry Officer's Visor Cap, Manufactured by HPC

Early, high quality infantry officers visor cap is in little used condition. Constructed of fine field grey cloth. Front with a pinned in place metal national eagle and alloy metal cockade. Also to front Officers Heavy Chin cord. Cap is piped with white trimmed wool. Cap band is constructed of dark green badge cloth. Inside is lined with golden yellow rayon. The cap has it’s original sweatshield all intact. Sweatshield is maker marked “HPC” for Hermann Potthoff in Coesfeld with patent number: D.R.G.M. 1419757. Brown leather sweatband all intact in good condition. Cap shows only minor signs of age and real use. No holes, stains or mendings.
