Coastal Artillery EM's M40 Field Blouse

Constructed of coastal artillery green/grey cloth. Five button front closure. Two chest pockets with pleats and scalloped pocket flaps. Hip pockets with hidden pocket bags and scalloped pocket flaps. Slided and buttoned to the shoulders are shoulder straps with pointed tip’s with a machine embroidered, winged artillery shell superimposed on a anchor in golden yellow cotton threads. Factory machine sewn to the collars are collar tabs, made of rayon with golden yellow center stripes. Also factory machine (and hand sewn) above the right breast pocket is a Coastal Artillery EM/NCO’s, machine embroidered national eagle in golden yellow threads on coastal artillery green/grey rayon. To the left breast pocket is broken loops for one award as well as a clear pin head sized hole from where a badge has been worn. The tunic is lined in tan coloured cotton. Belt suporting hooks are present and the lining is maker marked and size stamped in black ink to the inner right lapel. The tunic shows clear signs of a longer period of use. Nap wear is more or less all gone to all exposed parts, minor stains sall over and insignia shows the exact same wear as the rest of the tunic. All buttons appears to be original to the tunic and originally sewn in place. No holes, tears or larger stains.
