Heer 17th Infantry Regiment EM/NCO's Visor Cap with Braunschweig Skull

VIRO EM/NCO’s visor cap made of mid war field grey cloth with white wool piping denoting service in Infantry branch. Silvered metal Eagle and wreath/cockade pinned in place at front. Between the skull and cockade is a Braunschweig skull with cross bones pinned in place. EM/NCO’s leather chincord with intact buttons still in place. Cap is a mid-war private purchase one and is lined with silver colored rayon cloth and intact sweat protection shield. Uner the sweatshiled is manufacturer “VIROS” logo still in place. Cap also has a matching leather sweat band with the ventilation holes at front. Sweatband is in very good condition.

 

Cap is in, good still used conditon. With some age/wear spotting to the lining. Outside with some light wear / chafe wear to exposed parts. Except that, no mothing, rips, tears or holes. Cap also have a very nice apperance and would look great in any display. Size is rather large, approx 57 – 57,5.

 

About 15 years cap’s like this was fairly easy to find on the market. Unfortunately today caps like this are rare to find. So if your looking for an example a bit above the other visor caps on the market, this is the cap for you!!
