Heer Cavalry Officer's Visor Cap, Mint Erel

Mid war produced officer’s visor cap, constructed of field-grey tricot cloth with golden yellow wool piping. Pinned in place to the front is a silver washed alloy metal national eagle and wreath/cockade. Also in front and buttoned in place to the sides is as a officer´s heavy chincord.

 

Inside cap is lined with golden yellow rayon. Cap still have it´s original sweat shield still intact. The cap is water marked stamped “Erel” beneath the sweat shield. It’s very hard to see and even harder to capture on picture. Tan leather sweatband is all intact. The cap is in close to perfect condition, out-side is absolutly mint and inside to. There is minor paint loss to the upper part of the black colored cord above the sweatband. Hardly noticable at all. Inside is still filled with the original factory paper for the cap to keep it’s shape. The cap present it self very nicely with its clean interior and exterior and nice high peak. Size is about 56 – 56,5

 

This is the best preserved visor cap we ever had. On top of that, its a Cavalry officers visor cap produced by Erel!!
