Heer Cavalry Unteroffizier's M35 Greatcoat 

Issue M35 pattern greatcoat. Field-grey wool construction, double breasted style. Full length, greatcoat with a dark green collar. The greatcoat features dual rows of six front closure buttons. All buttons are of the same type with field-grey paint. The greatcoat also has a single metal hook and eye at the neckline. Buttoned and slided in place, to each shoulder is a early second pattern shoulder strap. The straps are constructed of bottle green cloth with golden yellow rayon piping and bright rank tresse. Inside is partly lined with mouse-grey colored brushed cotton and grey rayon lining to sleeves. The lining is stamped with size, manufacturers name and location as well as depot marked “F40” for “Frankfurt year 1940”. The coat is in very good condition with minor signs of age and use.

Superb example of a early greatcoat in well preserved condition!!
