995.00

The M35 dress tunic was introduced for wear by all ranks on June 29th 1935 as the walking out, parade and ceremonial dress with the piped, stone grey long pants.

High quality, private purchase field-grey wool M35 dress tunic. Eight button front closure with dual metal hooks and eyes and a lay down blue/green badge cloth collar. Machine sewn collar tabs, dress style, silver/aluminum threads on white cloth backing. Sewn on shoulder boards constructed of bright russian braid on white wool. Two gilt rank pips are pinned in place to each board. To the right chest is a NCO/Officer’s BEVO produced breast eagle neatly hand stitched in place. There is small, pin head sized holes from where a long ribbon bar and a combat badge was pressed through to the left chest. East front medal ribbon is sewn to the second button hole. Inside is fully lined with dark grey rayon cloth. Tailors label still intact. The tunic comes with a offiers Aiguilette which is attached to a button under the right shoulder board. The tunic is in slightly used, still well preserved condition. There is a couple of hardly noticable pin-head sized holes to the left sleeve. No rips, tears or larger stains.

Very nice, untouched tunic which comes complete with a perfect matching officer’s Aiguilette!!
