Bullion Eagle and Bullion Wreath/cocade at front, both neatly hand sewn in place as well as Officers heavy aluminium/silver chincord. Cap is a early mid-war issue one and is lined in for the period typical golden rayon cloth in very good condition with just a few water or sweat stains. 100% of sweat shield remains and the Schellenberg logo is still clearly readable “Original Schellenberg, Stirndrucksfrei, Sonderklasse”. Cap also has a tan leather Schellenberg style sweat band with the ventilation holes at front and the embossed text at the side ” Stirndruckfrei D.R.G.M. 14.19.504″. Sweatband is in very good condition. At the side of the sweatband we have the first owners initials K.B. attached with metal letters as well as embossded in the sweatband.

Cap is as said above in a little worn Very Good condition it have a small moth nip above the eagle and a couple to the top , except that, no mothing, rips, tears or holes. Some slight dirt to the top, but hardly noticeable. Cap also have a very nice apperance and would look nice in any display. Size is rather large, approx 58.

About 10 years cap’s like this was fairly easy to find on the market. Unfortunately today caps like this are rare to find. So if your looking for an example a bit above the other visor caps on the market, then this is the cap for you!
