Heer M40 Single Decal Combat Helmet, ET64

Combat steel helmet with field grey paint remains to approx 99%. Heer decal is also present to 99%. Inside complete with original liner, size 57 which is in very good condition, drawstring is still in place. Left inside is maker marked and size “ET64” indicating manufacture by “Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG Thale/Harz”, size 64. The reverse interior neck guard apron is serial number marked which appears to be “719”. Original chinstrap is present. Helmets doom stamp is also still clearly visable. The helmet was partly war-time re-painted with field-grey paint with saw dust or sand mixed in (for better camouflage and to prevent light deflection. The helmet is in very good condition, light and even signs of real use but no damage what so ever and the decal and paint is close to perfect. The sand/saw dust paint gives this helmet a true front feeling and look.

A great, un-touched helmet, helmets like this is getting harder and harder to find!!
