Heer Officer's M43 Field Cap 

Field-grey wool  construction cap with fold down back and side panels. Two grey painted pebbled metal buttons to the front center. The top, crown edge is piped in bright silver/aluminum braiding. The front center of the cap has a machine woven national eagle & Cockade in silver/aluminum flat-wire threads mounted on a field-grey rayon trapezoidal. The insignia is machine stitched to the cap. Partial leather sweatband is machine sewn in place. Inside is lined with silver/grey rayon. The cap shows clear signs of age and use. Insignia match perfectly in condition and is original sewn to the cap.
