Heer Panzerjäger Feldwebel's M36 Field Tunic

Field-grey wool tunic with bottle-green cloth collar. The tunic features a five button front closure with a singel metal hook and eye at the neck. The tunic has four pleated front pockets with scalloped button down flaps. Heer, early panzer issue collar tab’s, dark-green cloth with pink center stripes, period machine sewn in place. Sew-on shoulder boards constructed of bottle green wool with bright silver/aluminum tresse and pink wool piping. Pinned in place to each strap is a silver painted alloy rank pip as well as a “P” metal cypher for denoting service in a panzerjäger unit. Above right breast pocket is a EM/NCO’s national eagle in white threads on dark green rayon backing. The eagle is hand sewn in place. To and below the left chest pocket is loops sewn for four awards and above the pocket is tiny holes from where a ribbon bar was pinned in place. To the right chest is award loops sewn for either a German Cross in Gold or a Spanish Cross. Inside is lined with standard, drill, mouse grey brushed cotton cloth. The tunic shows signs of age and real use. No holes, rips or mendings. The back has been sewn-in a couple of centimeters for a better fit.
