Heer/Waffen-SS M40 Combat Helmet, Named ET64

The stamped sheet steel construction helmet retains 95%+ of its dark. field-grey paint. The right side has had it’s former Heer or SS decal period removed according to regulations. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is complete with all leather liner fingers intact. Original size adjustment string is present. The former owners initials, and interestingly SS runics are hand written with blue ink to the liner “SS T.E”. Left inside is maker marked and size “ET64”. The reverse interior neck guard apron is serial number marked which appears to be “599”. Original chinstrap is present. The chinstrap is clearly maker marked. The helmet is in good used condition.

Interesting Heer/Waffen-SS M40 helmet (most likely SS) in used but still well preserved condition!!
