Interesting Photo of a Soldier wearing his Awards.
The special thing with this photo is that it is signed and probably made after the war. It is signed the 28´th of May 1946. The Soldier is wearing his M41 tunic with his Awards, General Assaultbadge, Woundbadge in black and DRL sportsbadge. On backside it is written “in rememberance of the xxxxxx (illegable) Yours Karl Heinz.
Looks like not all Germans did throw away their tunics and Awards as well as denazifying their tunics directly after the war.
Photo have a modern tape mending approx 2,5 cm large.
